We started out our New Years Eve celebration the same exact way Trucker and I have done for the last two years. Comfortable and relaxed. Laying in bed, snuggled up and drowsy. We heard the fireworks begin in the neighborhood and simply said "Happy New Year Baby" and kissed. Rolled over and went to sleep. Aren't we the biggest two people to party you've ever seen?

I've never ever been one of those people who make New Years resolutions. Why? I simply know I would never keep them, it's just not me to do that. Why make a promise you know your not going to keep. This year we are doing something different. Something we KNOW we are going to do. Trucker and I made a resolution to be somewhat debt year by the end of the year. By somewhat I mean we are determined to pay off Truckers truck, pay off Princess's car and pay off the huge TV. You know the one I begged Santa for for Christmas. And if you believe that I got land to sell ya.

We are so determined to do this that I am working two Saturdays a month to contribute my part in the resolution. I'm also working today for the double time and 1/2 they are paying. Nice way to start my New Year out. I'm worth every penny dears.

One can never stop dreaming about things in life. If you give up on your dreams what do you have left? I had gotten to the point that I had stopped dreaming of something that would mean very much to Trucker and I. He however, had never stopped dreaming it. God the man is just freaking perfect for me! The dream is that in less than five years we are paying off this house and making many many renovations and updating to it. I always loved old houses and it's been a dream since young in life to renovate and restore one. Now after living in one for almost three years I have grown to hate old houses. But after a simple trip to Lowes, where it seems we live lately, I have started dreaming again. That's a great feeling to be dreaming again.

So friends, besides your New Years resolutions, start dreaming again. Share your dreams with your family and GO FOR THEM. NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS.

Amen Sista! What are we without something to look forward to & dream about? Hardware stores always do that to me too, probably because we live in a 75 yr old house.

I hope all your current dreams come true this year so you can make way for new ones next year.

And, I'm sure you're worth every penny and MORE!

Good for you! You're awesome :) By the way, that is kinda how hubby & I celebrated, except we were already asleep when the fireworks woke us up!
