The Simple Woman's Daybook

FOR TODAY.........April 13, 2009

Outside my window...It's cloudy, gloomy and wet. My back yard is swimming pool. I do hear birds singing a tune today though.

I am thinking...The clothes on the line have been washed for a solid 24 hours now. First in the machine and then all afternoon and night while hanging on the line. They should be exceptionally clean by now.

I am thankful for...Microsoft Office Word 2007 with all it's built in wonderful features. I wouldn't know what to do without it.

From the learning rooms...I learn more about Koi fish and ponds everyday. Ready to move on to other article topics.

From the kitchen...once more dirty dishes calling my name. We BBQ'd chicken yesterday evening late and lazy me didn't do them last night. Instead I chose to watch tv with Trucker.

I am wearing...Trucker's flannel pj bottoms and a confederate t-shirt.

I am creating...peace in my life.

I am going...to continue to do so for many days to come

I am reading...Same thing as last week, I have had no time for reading.

I am hoping...to get at least 6 articles written today plus my state taxes done

I am hearing...some truck with very loud pipes going up and down the street and the meowing of 3 day old kitties at my feet.

Around the house...the yard needs mowing (if it ever stops raining).

One of my favorite things...flowers of any kind. Planting, watering and receiving.

A few plans for the rest of the week......taking Princess to have her Prom dress fitting on Thursday.
