New Babies

About one week ago our youngest cat had her first litter of kittens. We have only seen them twice up until today. She had them under our bed at the top next to the wall and we were unable to see them except by flashlight. It's dark under there. LOL. The first day she had them a few hours after birth we had to take the bed apart to see how many she had, what they looked, and if they were all doing fine. She is being the best Momma. Momma's name is Lil Bit. We also have her mother whose name is Tinker Bell. Today Lil Bit decided she would finally move her kittens somewhere else. While doing dishes I heard the kittens meowing behind me as I had just fed them. I turned around and found Lil Bit attempting to carry one into the laundry room. Well the other cats gathered around her and I guess this must have scared her because she turned around and took the newborn and hid it behind our heater in the living room. What a great photo op and video op for me. Below are a couple videos of the process and couple pics.

One of them is so funny as the grandmother (Tinker Bell) decided she would steal one of them. Tinker Bell is also pregnant as well. I guess she wanted to start early? LOL.

This is Lil Bit. Isn't she pretty? Don't you want to come get a kitty?

You can tell she is getting really irritated at her mother. Look at that face.

This is why she got irritated.

Till tomorrow,

OMG, those are great videos! How funny that Grandma took a baby. Of course, I'll probably be that way when my baby has one of his own!
