Just Have To Share

Not a lot has been happening around the Stepp home since returning from my weekend getaway.  I've simply just had to much housework to catch up on and haven't quite felt well.  Cold's can really drag a person down.  Don't you worry none though as I've got much going on in the "thinking" dept. for more projects coming up.  The next major project will be re-doing my dining table, chairs and china cabinet.  I only hope this weekend is pretty enough to get started.  Since I don't have anything to share today that I've done I want to take time to let you know about a fabulous give-a-way I've found at Creations From the Heart.

I've been reading Sherry's blog for some weeks now since I had found her tutorial on how to redo a lamp shade.  Sherry's blog is wonderful to say the least.  She shows many DIY projects on a budget as well as hosts her own TV show on her local network.  The TV show is called "Fancy That".  You can watch her shows on her blog as well even if you don't live locally.  So far I believe I've watched every episode of them.

Today's post @ Creations From The Heart shows you how to make a beautiful DIY Hostess Gift for less than $5.00 and I really must say it looks easy peasy as well.  I plan on making one for me as a table centerpiece for summer.

Now on to the give-a-way!!  Sherry is offering one lucky reader a chance to win this:

as well as a copy of Somerset Life:

Aren't those decorated cans the cutest thing you've seen in ages?  I love these.  You can hang them outside on your door handle or in place of a spring wreath.  Or you could also choose to hang them inside for more enjoyment for yourself.

It's really easy how Sherry has set up the entry process for these to great gifts.  So be sure and head over to Sherry's @ Creations From The Heart and get entered today.

yard sale was okay, weather was perfect! 2 more days to go.
I hope you have great weather this weekend to start on your projects. That sounds like a big job!
