Once more I used glossy black spray paint and painted her down. For the shade I couldn't remove the stenciling I had done and it wasn't in the budget for a new shade right now. So I used scrapbook paper I had on hand that is done in black/white scrolly design. I modge podged it over the stenciled section. Once this was dry I added black ribbon to the top of the lamp. As well I added wider black ribbon above the scrapbook paper and smaller black ribbon below the scrapbook paper. I have to say this is not my best work but we all like it. That's what counts the most. It looks really pretty at night when it's turned out.
You can see all the bubbles under the ribbon where I used the hot glue on it. I wish it wouldn't have done this however. Right now it's sitting on a small step ladder since I am waiting on my newly redone end table to dry before placing on it.

Great Job girl!
Your lamp looks pretty and I like the pattern that you chose for the shade.
Is there anyway you can pull off the trim and reapply to get the bubbles out....if not, don't worry about it. It still looks great.
