Princess and I decided to have a girl's weekend away! Just her and I going away together for some fun. Our idea of fun was going to see my grand kids (her niece and nephew) who live in Mt. View, Arkansas about 2 hours away. Of course this meant the fun included my son and daughter in law as well. We left out early on Saturday morning and I practiced with my new digital camera all the way there. LOL. I had to learn the in's and outs of it you know? Who needs a manual when you can find out all the fun stuff from making your own mistakes, over and over again. So after 200 + pictures I chose my favorites to put together for Mosaic Monday who is hosted by the sweet Mary @
Little Red House. Please be sure and go visit Mary and all the other Mosaic Monday participants when you leave here.
Besides being some of my favorite pictures from the trip they are also some of my favorite old and new houses seen along the way. Pastures, rivers, streams and towers. I have a thing for water towers, don't know why, just do. Don't worry I am not going to bore you with picture after picture of towers though. OK, here's my faves.
Remember to go over and give
Mary and all the other participants a visit.

Pretty mosaics :-) I really like the snaps of the old houses and barns. And the bright yellow flowers are a sure sign that spring is on it way :-)
Thanks for checking out my kitchen makeover. The backsplash and pendant lights are my favourite things in the room too :-)
