Pink Saturday

Welcome to my first Pink Saturday post. Pink Saturday is hosted by the gracious Beverly over at How Sweet the Sound. If you've never been by Beverly's blog I suggest going over today for more entries in the Pink Saturday Meme. If you love pink then this meme is for you!

Once upon a time in a year far, far past (before marrying Trucker) I had a lovely pink princess froo froo bedroom. I would decorate the majority of the house in pink today if it weren't for my rugged Trucker (he even refuses wearing a pink shirt). For some reason he insists that our bedroom not be the pink froo froo anymore. I do still have several pieces of pink left that I display in our bathroom, kitchen and living room. Today I'll show you some of my favorite pink things.

And there's some pink things I still want.

I would love having this table. Do you think I could get by with it on one side of my bed?

I think there is just something so sweet, feminine and fun about pink.

I hope you enjoyed Pink Saturday here with me and don't forget to head over for more Pink posts at How Sweet the Sound.

Till we meet again,

Welcome to Pink Saturday! I can relate to your "Trucker" and his sentiments about pink. My dh won't wear a pink shirt either - not even if it has just a little pink stripe in it. : ) So I have to use my pink sparingly here at home (or re-name it somethink like "brick red"). Ha! Anyway, I've enjoyed visiting your blog. Have a wonderful day. Hope to see you around more.

Blessings,
Tricia

Well we girls must compromise when it comes to our pinks I understand. I love that tile table with all the pinks.

Treasia, I love pink too! My grandmother loved pink her whole life and her entire garden (the whole backyard) had nothing but pink flowers of all kinds. She even had a summer house in the backyard that was covered in pink sweetheart roses, where I loved to play as a child.

So, you go with that pink girl! I definitely think you need that table. It's adorable...

Welcome to your first Pink Saturday, Trecia.

I love all of the pinks you are sharing today. And, I am "in love" with that gorgeous piece of crochet.

I definitely think you could go with just one table. In fact, I think one would make even more of a statement than two.

Thank you all for coming by my Pink Saturday.

For those that loved the doily I wanted to let you know that my grandmother, who is 105 years old, made this for me many many years ago. I will treasure it always.

Froo froo doesn't work for most men so I understand the hubby not wanting the froo froo pink in the bedroom but the things you showed are so sweet. Love the pink roses in the clear vase.

Happy Pink Saturday!

I enjoyed your Pink Saturday post...I am also married to a non-pink man, I can slip pink touches in by calling them "rosy-cream" or "light-sunset"...but even that has limits and must be attempted very sparingly.Couldn't agree more about the pibk side table!
My living room will forever be dark leather since we are big dog people-black Labradors, no less, so no eggshell or celery or seashell colors for me. That's why I love Pink Saturday, I can find the little touches here and there when I really look. Welcome to P.S. Stop by to say "Hi" LaVerne in Texas

Welcome to Pink Saturday. I've only been a participant for the past month. I love reading all the blogs.
Your pinks are lovely. I too would love that table! I think most DHs would prefer that the house not be all pink. My studio is painted pink and green. I love it.

Happy Pink Saturday.
