FOR TODAY, Monday, February 9, 2009Outside my window...The sun has risen and it's glorious to see. Bright, sunny and cheerful.
I am thinking...of how much I still have to do today. House to clean, yard to rake on more, and clothes to take of the line.
I am thankful for...The beautiful weather we had over the weekend and having my family home to share it with.
From the learning rooms...
From the kitchen...I just finished baking a homemade pan of cinnamon rolls.
I am wearing...jogging pants, tie dyed t-shirt and slippers.
I am creating...a blog button for my Frugal Friday's posts.
I am going...grocery shopping later on today or tomorrow.
I am reading...absolutely nothing at the moment. hoping to find something good soon.
I am hoping...the weather stays this nice all week.
I am hearing...sweet blissful silence
Around the house...It's always a mess on Monday's after Trucker and the Rug Rats leave from the weekend.
One of my favorite things...is going camping. Hopefully in the next few weeks we are camping out in our backyard with the kids. Cheap entertainment for them.
A few plans for the rest of the week: Getting my containers ready for vegetable planting and buying some plants for them.
Here is picture thought I am sharing...

My sister has grown many wonderful vegtables in carboard boxes. End of season, all go into compost. Quite amazing to harvest egg plant from a cardboard box.
What awesome ideas. That is the one thing I miss about living on regular land, as opposed to sand. I can not have a typical garden, but this is a fabulouso idea. Now my brain is going, hmmmm...I wonder if I can...
Beautiful post!! I too am an avid gardener. We have a small organic herb and specialty pepper business. I love diggin in mother earth.
Thanks, your post was a fantastic way to start my day......

I enjoyed reading your Daybook. :)
FINALLY!!! Someone else who hangs their clothes out on the line!!! You would think that I am living in the dark ages when I tell people I prefer to hang my clothes on the line instead of using a dryer. Don't you just love the smell of sunshine on your clothes and sheets?!?!?!
You amaze me! I always love planting a garden! The weather this past week end gave me an itch!
I'm looking forward to planting our garden also, just love canning in the summer.
I'm jealous you have started your garden already and you must post your receipe for cinimon rolls!
