At the risk of sounding quite conceited today's post is about me! Gee it already sounds conceited doesn't it? What I mean to say, oh hell it just sounds worse the more I open my mouth, is that I love myself just as much as the younger days because I like how I have turned out thus far. Sure I miss the hell out of the younger days, but these new and yes improved, older days are not so damn bad either.Yes, I had a fit, tight body many moons ago which has turned into a gravity ridden saggy baggy body. But my mind and maturity level is so much better. I have learned over time how to speak my mind and not give a hoot what others think, how to make decisions all by my little self, and how to learn from the vast mistakes I've made in this life.
I also think as ladies we all have a tendency to not appreciate ourselves as much as we should. We seem to spend the majority of our time taking care of everyone but ourselves. Learn to appreciate all you are and all you do. We, as women, need to pat ourselves on the back daily. Remind ourselves that we are strong, smart, successful, lively, entertaining, nurturing, and beautiful. All in our own unique ways. So now I say "Let's all run and have a spa day". We deserve it!

You have not changed a bit!
I'll met you at the spa!
We all make the mistake of not loving ourselves as much as we should. That is not concieted, unless you let it intervere with your everyday live, if we don't love ourselves who will?
That's not conceited at all. It's good to take charge of yourself and be the best you can be and love yourself.
GREAT post! Thanks for reminding us all that we need to take time and love and respect ourselves. Heck, like you said if we don't who will?
You are so beautiful! My daughter Sarah looks like she could be your daughter instead of mine. I will have to email you a photo later on tonight.
What a great post to remind us we need to take better care of ourselves! I loved this post.....not concieted at all!! Have a lovely Wednesday!
You're cute as can be; you should love yourself! You go girl!
You look amazing! Always;)
Wise and pretty, too. That's the perfect combination.
This is a great post, you are so right about women forgetting to love ourselves and take care of ourselves.like you it took getting older for me to start standing up for me and saying what is on my mind.My daughter told me one day that I spoke before I thought about what I wasd saying.I said no I do not,I know what I am saying and mean what I say and if no one likes what I say that is their problem.
You were beautiful then and you are still a beauty.
