FOR TODAY March 9, 2009 Outside my window...The birds are chirping, the sun is continually rising, and it looks to be a gorgeous day. I see the squirrels playing, the birds feeding and the cats waiting to pounce on the birds.
I am thinking...about how I am going to enjoy my day of silence.
I am thankful for...the fact that I finally got all my container seedlings started. As well as managing to get 6 loads of laundry done over the weekend. But most of all, my new computer is hooked up and running wonderfully.
From the learning rooms...No rooms but learning how to live frugally and simply everyday is a blessing.
From the kitchen...I smell the coffee and hear the cats eating quietly.
I am wearing...A new simple stripped lounge dress that I bought at Roaaman's for $7.00 on sale. I love that store and my new dress.
I am creating...The last pair of those damn southern thongs (flip flops) and happy to see them almost completed.
I am going...to the vets today to take our cat Snowie. He is not right. I think he has a massive infection in his ear which has lead to his brain. He is walking sideways, lost his hearing and just not right.
I am reading...The first book in the Nora Roberts series The Seven Signs
I am hoping...the vet can fix and make our cat well.
I am hearing...blessed silence.
Around the house...I still have many things to do. Vacuum the living room and master bedroom, mop, dust and more.
One of my favorite things...reading a good book in the bed at night all snuggly and comfortable.
A few plans for the rest of the week: Include writing more articles (I am behind now), watching my movies from Netflix and doing lots of yard work.
Here is picture thought I am sharing...
Go over to
The Simple Woman's Daybook and look at all the other interesting blogs that are doing this. Or better yet, take part in it yourself. I would love to read your answers.
Enjoy your day to the fullest my friends,

I did yard work yesterday. It was so nice being able to get out and enjoy the sunshine.
Are those cats a little spoiled?
The snaps of the cats asleep is priceless :)
