Yup after almost one week of the weather being so springish and warm with temps being over 70 degrees, well, mother nature reminded me of who's boss and how it's not spring yet.
While it is beautiful falling softly from the sky, gorgeous to watch, blinding in it's brilliance, I hate it with a passion. Mother Nature sent us a total of about 5 inches yesterday. I have already filled the bird feeders twice since then. The birds can't get enough. Unfortunately they are mostly blackbirds but I guess they get hungry too.

Oh, praying it comes my way!!! I need it so...
Wow 5 inches! We'd close down for a week if we got 5 inches of snow here! We are getting some ice even as I type. Will keep you posted!
We are getting it tonight and tomorrow. I hope I have enough wine.
beautiful! it just started to snow this afternoon around 4-ish - we are supposed to get a foot! this is going to be some nor'easter - time to fire up the hot cocoa and snuggle down!
Snow in Arkansas, mostly melted now.
The weather has been extremely unpredictable here in central TX lately. It's definitely keeping us on our toes.
Beautiful! I think the snow is going to miss us here, though it sure is cold enough. brrr!
Thank you for your comment on my blog. You asked about bread making and mentioning how your bread doesn't seem to have that yeasty smell. The only suggestion I can think of is making sure your yeast is still good. After opening, store it in the fridge and when using, letting it come to room temperature. Also, I've heard that letting your water get too hot can kill the yeast.
I'm not sure if that's helpful but those are the only thoughts I have on that subject. ;o)
Happy breadmaking!

We are all SO ready for SPRING and warmer weather!!
I figure 2 more weeks...according to the Groundhog?
My hormones understand Mother Nature. They really do.
Thanks for visiting my blog. My husband was on Jeff Fullers Modified team the year they won the championship. We live in Martinsville Virginia and go to the race there. He watches everything on the Speed Channel. Who watches qualifying when you can just go to the sports channel and find out whose on the pole? My husband does. He says its in his blood. He loves Tony Stewart and Joey Lagano. I know more about racing than I car to: overdriving the car, probably too much cambra, maybe they need to add some wedge, etc, I like go-carting. He just came home after two days of wrecker servicea and catching up on all that weekend race recording. He love Jesus and anyone who get into his truck is actually stepping into a pulpit on wheels.
