A few weeks ago I finally took some time and planted a lot of my garden seeds into the little seed starter containers in the house. Now bear in mind this is the first ever I have done this. I've never gardened before (other than flowers) and couldn't wait to see the results of my plantings. Well it wasn't long before I could see the little sprouts shooting up out of the soil. I have babies these little buggers for weeks now.
I never once thought about having four cats who run in out and the damage they could possibly cause to my "new little babies". But Lil Bit sure did her damage to two trays of them. But still I know they will survive it.
This weekend I have got to get the English Peas in the pots (so to speak) as they are out growing the seed trays. Same with the cucumbers as well. Here's a few picks of my babies.
This first one is the cucumbers and peas. Haven't they gotten huge and aren't they pretty? The bare spot you see to the right is pepper plants. For the life of me I can't remember what type though.
This is other peppers and some tomatoes. Not all the peppers have came up yet. The little plants to the left and right just sprouted up overnight and I found them this morning.
This is my turnip greens and more tomatoes. As you can see these are the ones that Lil Bit done the damage too. After removing the plastic clear covering one night she decided they looked very inviting to sleep in. When I got up that next morning I found where she slept right in the middle of the whole tray and mushed them all down. I hope they survive this.
I can't wait to get my hands in the soil this weekend and get these babies planted.
Just a reminder: Don't forget tomorrow is Frugal Friday and a big giveaway. Here's another hint about the prize: It's something everyone would love and use.
Till tomorrow my friends,

Way to Go Mrs Greenjeans! See you tomorrow!
Maybe I'll grow some herbs and tomatoes on my patio. Thanks for the inspiration!
Can't wait to plant!
I tried growing from seeds too. With 2 kittys it's almost impossible! So now I just buy mine, where I work.....check my blog
Someone's on the ball! I'm going to cheat and buy the starter tomato plants at Wal-Mart! I will start my zuccinis from seed, but I still have time to do so!
Gotta love cats right? We don't have any right now because there is no room for a litter box. When we build the new house though we're getting some!
